Olga Galazoula

1a2b77fOlga is a solicitor and Greek-qualified lawyer and currently works for a leading law firm in the City of London, specialising in complex cross-border corporate and financial restructurings. She started her career in Athens, after completing her undergraduate legal studies at the University of Athens. She graduated from London School of Economics in 2004 with distinction. She has an acute interest in gender equality and glass ceiling issues and has been a member of other women’s networks in the City. She likes spending her spare time watching West End plays and is currently training for a half-marathon, fundraising for a medical charity.

Nadia Kappou

nadia_gpwnNadia is a Lecturer in Finance and Director of a postgraduate programme specialised in risk management, in one of the leading business schools in the UK. She is involved in a variety of academic research projects in the area of Finance and in executive education. She has a 7-year experience in the financial markets and has worked as an equity derivatives trader for a major investment bank in New York and City of London. Nadia holds a PhD in Finance and an MSc in International Securities Investment and Banking from the ICMA Centre – University of Reading, UK, and a BSc in Banking and Financial Management from the University of Piraeus, Greece.

Argie Papadimitriou

argie papadimitriouArgyro works for a leading international bank in the City of London, managing a portfolio of structured finance products. She has 9 years work experience in London’s financial industry. Following her bachelor degree in Statistics, from the Athens University of Economics and Business, she continued her studies in the UK. She received a MSc with distinction in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the ICMA Centre, University of Reading.

Maria Kypraiou

MariaKypraiouMaria is a marketeer currently working at a leading soft drinks international group. She has a Postgraduate degree in Marketing and Strategy from Warwick Business School and her expertise is strategic brand management. In a previous life, Maria worked at the Marketing Department at Athens 2004 Olympic Games and was involved in the Olympic Torch Relay passing the Olympic Flame to thousands of people. She is very much into the ‘sweaty’ yoga stuff and every weekend you will find her wall climbing in west London.

Nicoleta Genagritou

Nicoleta Genagritou0028Nicoleta is working for a leading professional services firm in the City of London, specialising on advising clients in the banking and capital markets sector. She started her career working for an American multinational investment bank in London. She graduated from the London School of Economics with first class awards, where she completed a BSc degree in Economics and an MSc degree in Economics and Finance.

Ioanna Vassilaki

Ioanna VassilakiIoanna is an experienced manager and consultant and is well versed in client and public relations. Ioanna holds an MBA from the University of Westminster and is also qualified in teaching. She loves travelling and playing tennis.

Anastasia Grimpa

anastasia gribaAnastasia works as a lawyer and completed her undergraduate studies at the Law School of Athens in 2009; two years later she graduated from City University London, obtaining an LLM in International Commercial Law. She has worked in Prague, Athens and London and she is interested in enriching her experience worldwide. She enjoys travelling, playing board games and discovering vintage markets.

Pauline Tzachrista

PaulineTzachrista_4019webPauline is currently working as an international key account manager for a world leading sustainability assessment method and rating system for buildings. With a background in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Pauline has previously worked as an Architect in Greece specialising in high-end commercial and residential projects. Pauline was awarded with an MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering from UCL in 2009 and has since been focusing on sustainability in the Built Environment.

Sapfo Lazaridou

Sapfo is a RIBA chartered architect specialising in high-end residential schemes and has successfully managed a number of projects across the UK and Europe. She holds an M.Eng. in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and an MSc. in Construction Economics and Management from the Bartlett School of University College London (UCL). Sapfo is also a member of other networks aiming to raise the profile of professional women in architecture and the wider construction industry.

Georgina Tsagas

Georgina is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Faculty of Laws, University College London. She conducts research in the areas of UK Company Law and EU Securities Regulation and currently lectures on the Cross Border Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Governance modules at postgraduate level at UCL. Georgina holds a Ph.D. in Law from Queen Mary University of London sponsored by a Full Scholarship Award by QMUL (2009-2012) and is dual qualified, as a lawyer in Greece and as a Solicitor in England. She obtained her Law Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (2006) and received her LLM from QMUL with Distinction (2008).  In her spare time Georgina enjoys travelling and horse riding.

Viki Fotopoulou

Viki has many years of experience in the banking industryrocessed-2, having worked in the investment divisions of some of the world’s largest banks. She has studied Business and Economics in the Athens University of Economics and has a MSc  in Economics from the University of Essex. She is a member of other women’s networks in the City and is supporting GPWN’s initiative for the financial services professionals’ focus group.
